Turnpike is a fusion folk band from Brooklyn, New York that plays across several genres, including country, pop, jazz, klezmer and bluegrass. Their unique sound has been rolling since 2017, fueled with big harmonies, rolling beats and original storytelling. Everyone has special highways in their life journey, and the idea for Turnpike comes from lead singer and songwriter Jeff Yas’s connection with the Mass Turnpike. Go east from Framingham to the city, go west to the mountains. It’s a straight line either way.
