Current

'Slowly' is a direct result of one of my most 'tried & true' methods of songwriting over the past 25 years ~ which involves throwing the guitar into 'seemingly random' tuning & being open to what sound patterns emerge. 'Slowly' also builds upon my latest music discovery of how 'shockingly amazing' the 5th generation iPod Touch is as a real-time sound editor/sampler/processor + DAW (digital audio workstation).

As much as I LOVE the entire singer-songwriter-performer experience of music, a genuine part of me does truly enjoy sound sampling, re-mixing & electronica themed music creations. This particular instrumental piece (Spiral Dynamica) was a sound-experiment foray via GarageBand for OS X. Enjoy Ω

CRTC - A song that a wrote in a quick sitting back in early January 2011, right around the time that the emerging picture of where the CRTC stood with regards to the future neutrality of the evolving internet debacle in Canada. There may well have been a time in Canadian history where the CRTC did play a constructive and necessary role - yet it increasingly clear that ship has sailed a long time ago.

C was for Canadian, and you’re disappointing me,
