Jefferson Obanavwe Dennison, known professionally as Jeffboy HM or simply Highman, is a Nigerian Music Composer and songwriter from Delta State, Nigeria. Of Urhobo and Ijaw descent, Jeffboy HM proudly draws from his deep-rooted cultural heritage, allowing the sounds, stories, and spirit of his people to influence the heart of his music.

From an early age, he was deeply inspired by the rhythms and melodies around him both traditional and modern which shaped his distinctive style: a blend of authenticity, raw emotion, and cultural resonance. His music reflects a connection to his roots, blending contemporary Afro sounds with ancestral echoes that speak to identity, struggle, and resilience.

Jeffboy HM made his debut with the single “Another Man Life (Original),” introducing a voice that is both personal and universally relatable. As he continues to grow his catalogue and connect with listeners across the globe, his passion for storytelling and sound remains his driving force.

He is also the founder of Highman Music Family, a music company whose foundation is deeply tied to his personal journey and artistic values.
