It is an absolute delight to announce @daigohanada's new LP Satori, which we'll release in March of next year. I’m excited to share “Once Upon A Time”, the first piece from my Music & Score Series. This composition has been with me for many years and remains a favorite—not just for me, but for many listeners. Every time I play it, it feels like embarking on a sentimental journey, a moment to drift away in thought.

Some of you have expressed interest in playing it yourselves, which truly makes me happy! That’s why I’m making the sheet music available for you. It’s a relatively easy piece to play but leaves plenty of room for emotion and personal interpretation.

Into my mind; yet mine do not reach yours any more,





Your sight forever a frozen image in my mind;

Yet mine; remains not even a memory you can find,





Your love a tattoo etched into my skin;

And mine; to be found nowhere to begin,





Your soul on its journey to atonement;

And mine; left abandoned with adjournment,





You were to walk with me without intercept;

Yet the sand; imprinted only with one pair of footstep,





Years pass by and I walk alone still;

In shadows with a silent will,





As words dry on your tombstone;

I watch silently of all promises forgone,





Of all dreams that could never realise;

Of a future that could never materialise,





I watched your soul turn into a light harness;

Whilst I entered the realm of eternal darkness.
