Gordon Lightfoot is another artist I didn't realize I was so influenced by until going back and listening to him the past few years. Then I remembered my dad loved his songs "Sundown" and "Carefree Highway" and used to listen to his records when I was younger. The more I hear his music the more I'm just blown away with the production. The players are incredible and so many little details hiding in what at first seem like simple songs. Also my friend Patty Corkins told me a story of going to one of his shows in the 70's and he was the only artist she'd ever seen that sat "indian style" his entire performance. Thought that was really unique. Anyways, hope you enjoy this months cover "Cotton Jenny" by Gordon Lightfoot. Cheers - JC
