This is a recording from my set in the infamous cage at Revolver Upstairs. I played 3:30pm to 5:00pm Sunday afternoon. By far the funnest set i've played to date. And to be able bring the sounds i love to the cage was a dream come true. Massive thanks to @staywise-1 for call up to play at her Ep launch Take over after the Revolver residents. And Thanks to Revolver, my mates that came down and the Sunday arvo Revs punters! Hope you enjoy!

Kicking off the first of many sets recorded from our new WAH floor is the super talented Wilma with her melodic house & techno vibe laced with live cello. 

“I was very excited to play at this year’s Chi Wow Wah Town. It means a lot to be involved in such a beautifully curated, wholesome weekend filled with art, great music and wonderful people. The new location in which the festival took place was stunning, with its two quirky stages, CHI and WAH, set amongst the trees in the Winton Wetlands. I performed a bouncy Saturday afternoon set at the WAH stage which was thankfully graced by sunshine just in time after a morning of heavy rain.
The crowd’s vibes were high, the party was cranking and needless to say, we all had a total blast.” Wilma

Dragon Dreaming 2022 - this festival was the first party I ever attended many years ago, the first time I ever played a set completely made up of my own creations and a place that has shaped my life and sound in so many ways. Seeing it flying again after three long years on hiatus and being reunited with so many special people was an absolute treat. The lake was full, the skies were blue, the grass was green and there were smiles all around. This is a recording of the icing on the cake, being given the privilege of playing the closing set on the main stage was a real full circle moment for me, and one I will always cherish, so thank you to the organisers and everyone who was there for the whole weekend and made it so bloody special. Hope you enjoy <3

Live @ Dragon Dreaming 2022

I got the call up from the legend @staywise-1 to close out the front room at Revolver Upstairs for her recent event 'Shadows'. Playing 6am-7am coming in from Techno and playing fast and hard into the last half of my set where i was able to play some epic closing tracks i've wanted to for a very long time. Thanks to the Dancing punters who were there till they turned the lights on! and Thanks so much Steph and @revolverupstairs for the opportunity to play a beautiful and memorable closing set in such an amazing club. An all original set for Sixth Sense Australia at My Aeon in Melbourne. Had the absolute time of my life, the set features two hours of all original music with a bunch of new melodic techno to kick things off. As it slowly increases in bpm there are some experimental bass sections to break up the 4x4 beat pattern as it heads into more bush prog / deep prog sounds. I played upstairs  1:30am-3:00am Going through multiple areas from Tribal and progressive Techno, into some bush tech and proper techno and finishing with some proggy melodic trancier tracks. A Downtempo set that is 109bpm - 115bpm blending through a range of Organic, Deep, Tribal and Psychedelic sounds.

As Afterhour Sounds, we have made it our mission to always think outside the box. So it's certainly no surprise that today we landed in Boston / USA at the afterhour there, to which Eartha Harris / Living Light invited us.

We've had the fascinating and enterprising American on our radar for quite some time now. Since her premiere "Mirrors" (https://soundcloud.com/afterhour-sounds/premiere-eartha-harris-mirror-suit-sofa-beats?in=livinglight/sets/mirror-suit-featuring-bluetech) about 2 years ago, we are totally convinced of her sound. 

Somewhere between dreamy, melodic, but always driving music, she provides the listener with constant goosebumps. Both at home and in the club. Her mixes also have a clear thread, which is reflected in their structure, stylistic coherence and a fluid groove. She herself describes her project Eartha Harris as a mixture of ethno and melodic techno. No matter how you categorise and describe it, one thing becomes clear pretty quickly when listening to it. She knows her craft. No wonder. The American has been an integral part of the local electronic scene for over two decades. She is on the road both as a solo artist and as a band keyboarder.

Besides many unknown but wonderful tracks, she has also included one of her upcoming releases, which you should not miss. Also, be sure to check out her other project Living Light (https://soundcloud.com/livinglight), in which she very successfully dedicates herself to psychedelic dub. It's amazing what a broad spectrum of electronic dance music she serves. Be curious.

Definitely a podcast that should find its place in every electronic music playlist. Whether day or night, dance or dream... this music always works. Promise.

His now been playing major festivals around Australia including Elements, Esoteric, New Dawn and Wild Horses Festival. Showing his versatility as a Dj closing out the Elemental stage at Elements festival with organic/psychedelic mid tempo set while also playing a peak time psychedelic techno set warming up for Electrypnose at Wild Horses Festival, showing his bpm range for has no boundaries.
