I have added lots more samples inc original rainforest recordings of Gibbons, Snakes and a Kookaburra!! Also inc Japanese gongs, bells and more from Monkey Magic itself to add to its authenticity but without being obvious and detracting from the soul of the track!!

Having not put out one of my mixes into the public domain since the days of mixtapes. I finally have the technology to lay down and upload my mixes with ease. So here it is my very first mix made especially for the 127 Radio show @ Eatmusic to be aired next week (details to follow n FB). 

This is 'Where Angels Fear To Tread' a dynamic journey through the realms of Deep and Tech House with a distant edge of Techno. This mini mix was created using Traktor Pro 2 software and showcases my most rated tunes of the moment.

Don't Model With A Stranger In A Mad Blue World - DeepN8tive a.k.a DJ Apache -  (Mashup feat. Yazoo, Kraftwerk, Eurythmics, New Order, Tears For Fears).

An effects style mash-up work in progress utilising one main single loop feat. samples, loops from :

Enya - Orinoco Flow (Intro vocal loop)

Kraftwerk - Tour De France (Main loop)

Bassheads - Is There Anybody Out There (Acapella vocal samples & loops)

+ various others inc Drone Air Helicopter, Maschine Ambience and some.

Just an idea really that came to me in the early hours!!

 A really simple single loop that continues throughout which combines with the other helicopter, drone and machine sounds and various vocal samples to give it a real clean metallic sound. Lots of work to do on it yet but as a base idea i think it has potential and wanted to share to get feedback...please!! ;)

Produced on Traktor Pro 2 with Mac Pro using solely track decks, samples, loops and plenty of effects and pans/filters to really heighten and give it dynamic atmospherics (listen on headphones!!!).

Jefferson Vandike a.k.a DeepN8tive a.k.a DJ Apache is one of South-West Englands most decorated DJ's, hailing from Plymouth in Devon he has been mixing up a storm now for a massive 27 years!!

He began his career aged just 16 way back in 1985 at a legendary local club in Plymouth named 'Rockafellas' initially playing Disco, Soul, Funk, Rare-Groove and Hip-Hop flavours before the electricity of the Chicago and Detroit House and Techno scenes hit UK shores, this was to be the sound proved instrumental in shaping his career for years to come.

Over the years he has held residencies and has guested at many major events/venues across the UK and Europe from London to Switzerland, Germany to Cyprus, events including Fantazia, Dreamscape, Dance Planet, Obsession and A.W.O.L, free parties such as Spiral Tribe and also held major residencies at clubs such as Club Abyss (Ayia Napas first Superclub). He was in fact one of the godfathers/originators of the entire Ayia Napa phenomenon which took a hold of Cyprus in the early to mid 90's, where he was to put on and DJ at the now famed dance capitals first major 'dance events'.

He has worked alongside a vast majority of the U.K's 'Superstar DJ's' over the years such as Carl Cox. Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, LTJ Bukem, Grooverider and DJ EZ to name but a few.

Currently holding a weekly residency back in his hometown whilst also guesting at various other venues his current sound is all about fresh Deep/Tech and Techno beats whilst also still embracing all things Old-Skool he is now making moves into the world of production and event promotion.
