I'm thrilled to share my very first Techno remix, a reimagining of Diplo's "On My Mind," a track that I absolutely love. 

 This remix represents a milestone in my music production journey, and I'm excited to take you behind the scenes of its creation. "On My Mind" has always been a personal fav, and I couldn't resist the challenge of giving it a Techno twist.

 Crafting this remix was an exploration of sound and rhythm, as I ventured into the world of Techno to create something truly unique. The track's success, hitting number 53 in the Techno charts on Hypeddit, was beyond my wildest dreams, and I'm incredibly grateful for the support.

 I'm a firm believer that music has the power to transcend genres and connect people, and this remix is a testament to that belief. Whether you're a long-time Techno lover or simply curious about this remix, I hope you enjoy the familiar melodies with the driving beats of Techno.

This track started out as a test to produce a track that could be played in forward or reverse for its entirety. There have been a lot of classic rock records that both unintentionally and purposely have unique sounds that arise out of playing the songs backwards. Eventually the entire track concept was abandoned for a project that would result in a unique result every time depending on who plays it and how they manipulate the sounds. Using the available reverse function on CDJs, software, or any number of options, DJs can change the song every time they play it. If they combine it with loops, and evene the other mix available, they can bring in more interesting ideas.  After playing around with some sound and vocal samples, this idea evolved into a track that is made to have its breakdowns and vocal samples played forwards and backwards.  
Of course you have to download it and play it in reverse to get the idea, but if you need a concept of what it achieves in reverse, check out the other version:
