I had a lot of fun, but I only found out about the contest 10 days before the submission deadline.I had a few more ideas to try, and there are definitely a couple of ways the arrangement could be tweaked, but as an excersize in efficiency, I'm VERY happy at the overall sound quality of the mix.
I had to mix and master it in one session, and submit it right after.Again, given the time constraints I'm quite pleased at the end result.

“When my agent proposed to bring Melvv on tour with me, I remembered 3 years ago when we were "soundcloud repost trade partners", and it was really cool meeting him IRL, after those few messages on Soundcloud when I was not more than 14! Melvv is a really good human being and it was funny teaching him some French swear words on tour haha. We asked Melvv to do a remix of Safe which is an instrumental track and I was surprised how much he managed to change it to add his own signature to it. It's one of the most unique remix someone made for me, Go Melvv Go!”

But after like a week of being on tour, we started playing Mario Kart in the green room before every show (the PB crew is amazing at Mario Kart BTW) and talking more and got to know each other and developed a real friendship. Then we were teaching each other about English, French, and what “raining cats and dogs” means at his birthday party.
