Always great song selection! A couple things that stands out to me in this mix are how ambient & relaxing the energy is despite the bpm and how all the tracks have incredible orchestration. Great mix hommie!

Love this style of smooth groovy tech-house.  Reminds me of what my fav tech-house DJ Rony Seikaly plays.

With a career spanning 15 years Dave Juric is a true multi-genre specialist. Known for his expertly-crafted warm up sets for progressive heavyweights like Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Oliver Schories & Danny Howells he has proven is equally adept at priming the dance floor for house and techno artists like James Zabiela, Patrice Baumel, Stacey Pullen, Thomas Schumacher, Matthias Meyer & Metodi Hristov.

The last few years has he also expanded is repertoire incorporating more driving, peak time sounds into his sets. These days you’re now just as likely to see him closing nightclubs across Melbourne taking audiences into the early hours of the morning with his now signature sound of rolling progressive and tripped out techno.

Recorded at the outdoor barn stage at the Shameless Vicennial Festival at Forest Park in Darrington Washington. Headliners for the weekend were John Tejada and J.Phlip. 

This wasn't just any festival, it was a family reunion of the beautiful, weird, and supportive community that the Shameless crew has built and become known for over the past 20 years. It was an absolute honor to get down with so many of my friends, fellow DJs, peers, and mentors.

What is Wisdom?

Was truly honored to perform at this year's Island Vibe. With 17 years of delivering Reggae, World, and Soul music to Aussies, it allowed me to reconnect with one of my first loves as a raver 15 years ago.

Some tracks were pulled from my sound-system clash days, and this mix features a blend of afro house, afro beat, and dubby house, merging half a lifetime of musical influences.

I really love fusing different genres, and gigs like this one give me the chance to mix super sonic soundscapes in unique ways, especially during my favorite set time - sunset. Thank you for having me crew 🙏🏾

DJ Recognize (Jeff Poyzner) [Fast Forward, Red Monkey] got back into mixing tracks in 2017 after a long hiatus since his raver days. Since then, he has organized a ton of events in San Francisco nightclubs and outdoor areas, spun with many crews, and has been known to play a variety of genres including Organic House, Indie Dance, and Funky House. In 2024, he has begun to produce tracks again with a dedication to creating great dance music for all to hear!
