Terry Francis first played the club on our launch night in 1999, and he’s been back to play hundreds of times since then.

As one of our two residents, for the last 17 years alongside Craig Richards he’s been at the very core of our Saturday night programming. Alongside our longstanding in-house team, it’s Terry and Craig who’ve helped shape our musical philosophy since the beginning. 

This is part of what made the Saturday night of last month’s reopening weekend so special. Following on from Stephane Ghenacia’s on point warm-up set with Room One already popping, Terry Francis stepped up to deliver what we can confidently say was one of the most compelling sets we’ve witnessed, ever. As we’re still looking back on this session fondly several weeks on, today we feel proud to unlock it from the archives for everyone to hear.

Sydney local Alex Low has been making some good noise in recent months, providing his sound at events like S.A.S.H and Rotary Disco. He has come to grow into his own sound, showcasing some of the finest down tempo and deep vibe sounds that house music has to offer. A recent residency with &friends and a weekly hosting on Rhythm Nights on Bondi Beach Radio provides a consistent platform for his expression of the deep groove music he loves. 

He also loves diving into the darker tech noise that we have come to expect from weekly romps like Welove and Lost in the Zoo. This is a local talent with the passion and diversity that is needed to build a set that will get anyone moving. Be sure to look out for this young talent he's growing into his own fast and we're enjoying the tunes. Thanks for preparing this for us Alex.

Con el tiempo fue cambiando su gusto hacia el rock: Pink Floyd, The Cure, David Bowie y Paul Gilbert fueron las influencias que desencadenaron su interés en la guitarra. El año 2010 comenzó su incursión en la música electrónica, con artistas como Ricardo Villalobos y Plastikman.

Fanático del vinilo, la MPC y los sintetizadores, siempre buscando la amalgama entre lo análogo y digital, nunca encasillado en un solo estilo: House, Techno, Minimal, Electro, Dub, Acid… cualquier cosa que suene bien.

Sus mayores influencias a la hora de producir son artistas de distintas sonoridades tales como Herbie Hancock, Ricardo Villalobos, Plastikman, Dj Sneak, Miles Davis, entre otros.

En sus producciones siempre busca que el oyente se sumerja en las texturas, paisajes y sonidos, que sus tracks puedan ser escuchados a ojos cerrados como también bailados en el dancefloor.

Sapir Viner 

Born and raised in Tel Aviv, since a very young age Sapir has been known by her special attraction to electronic music.
In her early years, Sapir studied at BPM college in Tel Aviv which is the leading electronic music school in Israel and is recognized as one of the best such schools in the world.
After two years of intense DJ/ production studies, Sapir felt ready to roll into the real music world .
She started to play in Clubs all over Tel Aviv and Israel, and club goers have fallen in love with her hypnotizing and unique sound, while bringing a new techy, minimalist approach into the Israeli club music scene .
Today, Sapir is considered one of the leading names in the Israeli night club scene, playing on a weekly basis in some of the hottest spots around Israel and in Europe.
Sapir has played in places such as Birgit and Bier - Berlin / Forest Tails Festival – Romania / The Block club – TelAviv / The Breakfast club, Slippers , Forum - Be'er Sheva , just to name a few 
In addition to her career as a DJ and with sets, Sapir is currently working hard in her studio on some mind blowing solo EP’s and collaborations, shaping her unique sound in order to give the world some of her special musical vision.
Sapir is a hard working person and is aiming to climb into the next level as a DJ and Producer, searching for the new sound and fresh productions, Sapir is definitely someone to keep an eye on!

[EN] Fruits & Beats Livestream is an electronic dance music channel where the artists of Zebra Booking Agency and their friends come in front of you with the latest productions from the ro-minimal and techno scene.
Most of the invited artists are from Romania , but depending on availability, will definitely come artists you love from outside the borders.
We chose to start the fun every Wednesday from 7 pm, considering that there is enough time to recover for those who had fun on the weekend and it is also a day of the week when we can call the artists we want to have in front of the cameras. The set will run for 4 hours, a time that can be a challenge also for experienced artists.
Out of passion for what we do, Zebra Booking and ALTa pARTe by The Stage have come together to promote this new concept in Bacau. Bacau is a city in Romania with a rich history of underground music. Target Underground and Zebra are two of the clubs that have promoted and powered artists who now make the maximum audience on any stage.
The two teams (The Stage and Zebra) behind Fruits & Beats have over 20 years of activity in the music industry and they can be proud that they have contributed a bit to the success of artists who are now headliners at all festivals in world (Raresh, Barac, Dubtil etc.)

We can’t think of a better way to kick-off our podcast series than with the anomalous Lola Palmer. Currently based in Amsterdam, Lola is one of Ukraine’s sweetest exports in the scene, and understandably so: her consistent stream of DJ-mixes has earned her an impressive following through channels like RTS.fm and MixCult.

Today, Lola shares an exclusive mix for Trickpony. The 1-hour journey starts off with lush ambiances, all while slowly tripteasing us into grainier grooves and basslines. The next electronic institution we’re profiling is Club Guesthouse, a Bucharest venue that helped lay the foundations for Romania’s famously vibrant electronic landscape. The 400-capacity space has long been the bedrock of Bucharest’s tight-knit house and techno community, hosting a regular rotation of local talents and scene leaders among a small pool of international guests. The sound is as clear as it gets thanks to a Funktion-One system, and as with all of Romania’s best minimal parties, the crowd arrives ready to dance for days on end.

Club Guesthouse resident Dubtil compiled a mix for us to represent the sound of the venue. Across the 2.5 hour session, the Romanian artist explores various hues of house and techno against a familiar backdrop of subdued and rolling grooves.
