This song came from watching children throwing stones out into a lake and also watching a child I new well throw stones up into the sky. All the while exclaiming " did you see it go, did you see it?" We all long to have an impact, to let those around us, the world the universe the parent or God we seek, know we are here.

Throwing Stones

 This was inspired by a trip to El Salvador and time spent in Norh and West Philadelphia. The struggle to hold on to shelter and food is something a child of the suburbs is not always aware of. So from his clean crisp suburban life he chants peace now, peace now! In this song he is sung to by a man trying to feed his family and keep them alive in the inner city and/or  third world. The invitation to this young safe suburbanite (me) is to take away the fear of loosing everything. The idea of that fear overwhelms me.

This One Room

Like Peter:

The story of  the apostl Peter being invited by Christ to step out of the boat into stormy water is where this song came from. I wrote this one a month before I first started playing out in public. It was a song to myself saying step out, walk on the water, step on to that stage, you may sink but there is always a hand to reach for. Leave your fears behind in the boat, in that safe place, and step out, trust, have faith, live without fear  .

This is Just me playing with samples. The only Musicality here is the arrangement of sounds. I played none of this music I simply put it together. Love my computer!
