This is one of the few songs I remember dreaming about; I woke up one morning with the melody in my head and grabbed the tape recorder I kept on my nightstand to capture it while I could... Chose my sweet potato ocarina for the lead instrument, recorded it with Paul Brown who would add light nylon-stringed guitar, and Chico Huff rounded it out with a truly funky bass line... "I love sweet potato pie!"
