This is the last song written for my first band. It was rehearsed but never played live before we split. I was not the lead guitar and this part is not what it should be. It starts fine but cannot take off.
Simple rock ballad, with classic start of instruments one after the other, and accelaration in the end.
I just wanted to record it for being able to remind of it.

Traffic Jam

Lyrics are an attempt to the prosaic / symbolist mix that enlight Dylan's songs. Weelllllll... far from reaching the same level.
Anyway, I like the mood in this song that rolls like a quiet horse drive, or anything that the male cowboy voice may recall.

Baby I Must Go

This song was written to illustrate a trick in songwriting. 
The whole song is quite monotonous and only enlightened by additional chords in the end. It is supposed to create addiction through playing with the listener's frustration and very brief satisfaction in the end (or during a single moment in the song). Then he goes listening again and again...
The flute is played on MIDI keyboard. Possibly some of the phrases could not be played wth actual breath and fingers.
Lyrics deal with ramblin' in Madrid in August - stoned to deaf.

And After All

First song recorded with my Novation NIO 2I4. There was a terrific effect in the presets - with flange and long echoooooo, that just went well with a GarageBand drum loop.
The whole song was put all together in the week-end.
Now what's funny about it that I am full unable to remind the chords that I used ;))

Speaking with your friend

Just wanted to make it sound funnyer than as recorded by Syd Barrett.
Then played it with a happy groove and added the second voice at the fifth. Plus kinda naive/basic jazzy solos. And a few additional chords at the end.
I like it like that, I feel it gives that joyful song just what it deserves.

Inspired by and respectfully dedicated to The Clancy Brothers.
There are four different vocal tracks. The banjo is from GarageBand loop re-edited for matching the chords sequence.

World Gone Wrong

The chorus was from 20 years ago but I never managed to find something going with it. 
And one day, I had the first verse, and it all fit together.
The style is an attempt to make a Spectorish arrangement and Wall Of Sound. At the end of the day, it just sounds like garage pop. And I like it.

She Will Dance

The lyrics are inspired from Ronsard "Quand vous serez bien vieille au soir à la chandelle..."
The music is reminiscent of the Velvet Underground, or the Lou Reed/John Cale record for Andy Warhol. Especially the piano solo that is a clear attempt to make something crazy like John Cale would.

I'll be there

This is as close as I can get to a love song.
Classic rock, mid-tempo ballad. Hammond B3 trying to brng the Blonde On Blonde mood.

You Must Know

This was an attempt to get as close as I can to Dylan's thin wild mercury music.
The last verses include original arrangements of Memphis' brass phrases, Dylan meets Stax;)
