2021 Marching Band Shows

This is a 3 movement medium difficulty competitive marching band show about the Notre-Dame fire in April of 2019. Through tragedy and the loss of cultural history, Parisians have since come together to invest in the rebuilding of this timeless cathedral.

"Notre Dame" - Marching Band Show

This is an all original competitive marching band show based on the tragic story of Amelia Earhart's final flight across the pacific ocean. Drum line (Pete Chambers) and full sound design (Tim Mitchell) were added in winter 2021 bringing this show to a whole new level!

"Amelia Earhart" Original Marching Band Show

This is a competitive marching band show that is a mix of original music and "Empire State of Mind" by Alicia Keys. The show is city-themed and is inspired by New York City.  It is split into four movements:
I. The City
II. Traffic
III. Evening In Central Park
IV. Empire City

"Empire City" -  Marching Band Show

Throughout history there have been cycles of Peace, Conflict, and Healing. One of these cycles we are looking at in our show is a snapshot of the 1960’s-1970’s. We start with an image of prosperity, in our cookie cutter white picket fence neighborhood, and are interrupted by the 1969 Draft Lottery, with homes being torn apart, and two distinct sides being drawn up- Pro-war and Anti-war. This is shown with our militaristic block marching on our hippie protest, with a huge clash when the two sides meet. After these events take place, we are left with broken homes and families on both sides. Fire and Rain, the classic James Taylor song, starts to help us find healing with love, even though we have differences. Having found common ground, we celebrate with a rendition of The Fifth Dimension’s Aquarius (Let The Sunshine In)! This is the 2016 production from the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps from Pasco Washington.

"Clash" - Marching Band Show

The year 1942 was a crazy time for our country. We had just been launched into WWII courtesy of the attacks on Pearl Harbor and our country saw things such as sending good men off to war, death, a revitalized economy, USO shows and more. What was America's perspective on all of this? That's what this show is all about. This is the 2015 production from the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps from Pasco Washington.
