Bassjackers release an explosive EP filled with six big-room anthems in ‘Les Pays Bass’ out via Smash The House on the 10th February 2023!

The title of the EP ‘Les Pays Bass’ pays homage to Bassjackers native country, the Netherlands, while cleverly outlining the contents of the six bass-heavy big-room anthems that lie inside. Bassjackers’ signature big-room sonics are prevalent throughout the EP. Bass bounces through ‘How We Do’, contrasting to the moodier industrial sounds of ‘Bass Hammer’ which is filled with heavy chords and simmering arpeggios. The electronic melody in ‘Old Skool Vibe’ is infectious, as are the high energy percussive gallops throughout ‘Burnout’. The only collaboration on the EP, ‘Arabian Nights Part 2’, contains hypnotic Arabic-sounding synths that weave through the track. There is an injection of a harsher sound in the final tracks of the EP, with a hard dance track, ‘That Bass’. The six new releases contain minimal lyrics throughout the EP, emphasising the power-packed beats and when featured, the vocals are distorted and repetitive complimenting the electrifying melodies. ‘Les Pays Bass’ provides high energy, to ignite adrenaline and rupture speakers.

The unique one DJ and one producer composition of Dutch duo Bassjackers, creates the perfect synergy. After exploding onto the dance scene in 2011 following the release of ‘Mush Mush’, they have gained a myriad of accolades. They currently stand at number 27 in DJ Mags Top 100 DJs, after maintaining their position in the top 100 for 8 consecutive years. Their music has achieved worldwide success, topping charts around the globe. A song that I personally don't like, to the point of hating it, and all because of the lead used throughout the song. I wanted to remix the song to the Big Room, but it was very difficult for me to do so, so I had to discard this remix twice, but as the saying goes "The third time's the charm" and I tried again, but with a different genre. different, and at the same time, it is a new one that I do, and that is how I decided to remix it to Dubstep

The invigorating, award-winning DJ has the remarkable skills to take his crowd on an energetic journey that has all the feels. Jeffrey was the former DJ and frontman for Dash Berlin. He is highly aware that his success comes hand in hand with the love of his fans who have always supported him and remained loyal throughout his career. This heartwarming and lasting support is one of the key drivers of his journey. The DJ has a preference for emotional, energizing quality dance music and loves to bring that across on stage.

1994-2007
Growing up in a family with a profound love for music, it was inevitable that Jeffrey’s path would lead here. His late dad who was a distinguished drummer in a jazz band taught him how to play drums at a very young age. When Jeffrey was a teenager, his sister started introducing him to electronic music. From that moment on he developed his innovative style of mixing and producing. Soon he began hitting turntables and performing under the aliases Toxic and Jeff Bounce in clubs, house parties, but also in different festivals. He played twice at the Loveparade and three times at Defqon 1 under these aliases.

2007-2018
For the last eight consecutive years with stage name Dash Berlin, Jeffrey has been in the top 20 of the well-known DJ Mag Top 100 poll, rendering the most popular DJ’s throughout the world, ranked #7 in 2012. In 2010 he won the DJ Mag Top 100 Award for 'Highest New Entry' during the Magazine's ceremony at the Ministry Of Sound in London, beating other famous Dutch DJ's such as Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Armin van Buuren and Tiesto as the highest Dutch entry till date. He received an IDMA award in the category ‘Best High Energy Track’ at the International Dance Music Awards in 2009 and was nominated for an IDMA award several times afterward. 

Some of the large festivals that Jeffrey headlined are Ultra, EDC, Sensation, AMF, Storm Festival, Mayday and A State Of Trance.

Jeffrey Sutorius is international resident DJ at Marquee Las Vegas for the past 8 years and counting.
