She combs her hair in the mirror
and looks to the phone,
but she can't dial the number.

How many times will it take

He stands in front of the window,

Makes him wish he'd been  
much better than all of the others.
Now it's too late.

WIP 1

 This song was inspired by Rod Argent's Moog solo in the song Clown on his 1975 album Circus, his most progressive and balanced album, in my opinion. I wanted to try something with a similar progression to that song and wondered what it would be like to have his solo become the melody of the song, just as an exercise. I did take it elsewhere, but enjoyed the process of taking something and making a completely different vibe out of it.

When I'm Gone

Don't know what I was thinking. Wanted to see what would happen if I ran the entire song through a flange. Duh! I'm gonna have to re-record this, but when? Wish I could just play, sing and write full time!   :)

Welcome To My World

This one is a shorty. Just my take on our political landscape these days, with all the polarity amongst us. Makes me so sad sometimes...
The melody instrument is an Erhu, which I found on Garageband, of all places. Luckily, when I switched to Logic, the same instrument was there.

Found this performance I did with some friends at Unity Church in Albany in late 90s, early 2000s. Didn't write it, didn't play any of the instruments, just sang the baritone line, and split the lead in I Dreamed a Dream.
