Jeff Woods is a Nashville powerhouse soul, blues, rock singer/songwriter. Jeff was born into a musical family and by the age of 12, he was opening for regional & national touring acts. After attending college at MTSU, he became friends with several musicians in the soul movement in Nashville. He went on to record with some of the biggest songwriters & musicians in the music industry inside Nashville. In 2014, Jeff released his 1st long awaited album “Roots & Redemption”. The lead single “Happy” would go on to be the biggest single to date for his career. Soon after the album was released Jeff was opening for legendary artists like Steve Cropper, Kansas, and several local soul bands. In 2017, Jeff was asked to record a song called “We Are Volunteers” to represent the University of TN athletics division under SEC Country. The single would go on to be a huge anthem for the school & for the people in Gatlinburg that had lost their homes in a tragic fire. In 2018, Jeff released his 2nd album “The Count”. A concept album to represent his love for retro soul, blues, mixed with modern undertones. The Nashville Scene Magazine declared Jeff Woods to have one of the best blues projects released in 2018 in all of Nashville. The album is currently in rotation live stages and Jeff performs live every chance he gets. His latest album “The Count” is available to purchase online and stream on all digital outlets.
