This is the first track that I've recorded for what I hope is my next album. I really like this song and I hope you do too.

Holding On

I had a "suggest a song title" contest on my Facebook page a few years back and this song title won. Other entries were "Les Pantalons D'Un Autre Homme", "I'm Not Crying, I've Just Got Smoke In My Eyes", and "Sleep Lost Thinking Of You Isn't Lost". I wrote songs for all of them, but so far, only this one has been recorded.

For those that don't know, the lyrics are based around the story of Richard Hillman, a rather nasty character from the soap opera, Coronation Street.

This was a song I wrote after a request from a friend for a song about being lost. I recorded this rough demo so that he could hear how it was supposed to sound. Sorry it's so quiet.

The first round of Songwarz with Andrew Shanahan and friends. We were given a song title. This is the song I wrote and recorded with that title. It is subtly about our polydactyl cat who happens to be called Barry.
