C# Tibetan Bowls With Binaural Beats (4hz And 2hz).  I added Binaural Beats at 4hz for the first 20 minutes and 2hz for the remaining set.

Binaural beats are a way of synchronizing your brain waves (which are measured in hertz) with the hertz of the binaural beat. The brain has a frequency following response which causes this to occur. This works best with headphones and is useful for meditation or relaxation. In this case I created three binaural beats. Each section is 10 minutes long and the beginnings are marked with the hits of the singing bowl. The tone is C 256 hz.

Lately it would appear that the long-time sonic innovators, Foreign Beggars, have been moving away from their previous dancefloor orientated output. Where the two emcee, one DJ trio applied their notorious dynamism to a plethora of electronic cuts or their fourth studio album, The Uprising which was released on EDM titan, Deadmau5’ mau5trap imprint back in 2012. With the group having already collaborated with the likes of Noisia, The Prodigy and Skrillex, the LP seemed to be a further document of Beggar’s exploration of the electronic spectrum, fusing rap and dance music, as well as elements of grime, into an energetic smorgasbord of anthems with productions from Knife Party, Kidkaneveil and 12th Planet. 

Their latest material, the heavyweight and trap fuelled, Modus EP - which was released on their new self-run imprint, Par Excellence and included contributions from Alix Perez - did maintain that kind of club aware flex but it exudes a flavour more evident in their earlier outputs (specifically the smash hit 'Contact' or even 'The Cut Deepens' from Perez' Shogun Audio release 1984 LP. Needless to say, it may not be the sound of the group re-treading 2003's defying debut Asylum Speakers, but Foreign Beggars are proving that they are still hip hop, first and foremost. 

Bringing their incendiary live show back to Room One next Friday night (20th February) alongside Newham Generals, My Nu Leng, GotSome and newcomer Amy Becker, the boys have aptly fired over a brand new exclusive mix to get us nicely hyped before the show…

Native American Flute #1 (2hz Binaural Beat)

This is a one hertz Binaural Beat using the frequencies 464hz and 465hz.  It is purported by users of Rife Frequencies that these may help to fight the pathogenic yeast Candida. I have no way to confirm how effective this may be, but I figured it's worth a shot.  At the very least it's a 1hz Binaural Beat.
