Would you look at that, the old melody I've had in my head for so long is now a 4+ minute tune. I have yet to write a song that'll last for less than 4 minutes, but I guess I like long, boring tunes with lengthy verses and hooks. Lolz fun fact, I had to get help from a Frenchman for that title - a monsieur with a name that started with an R. I forgot what his name was. Haha. Anw, it makes the song sooo much more interesting than it actually is. 

I'm really bad at singing smoothly, so I tend to layer vocals up to try hiding my errors. Hahaha I'm sorry if you cringe at any point in this thing. Okay, I've turned another description box into a blog entry. Bye xD

Les Yeux Bandés

Accidentally uploaded the draft version before, although the only difference really is the backing vocals on the second chorus of this one. Eheh.

Can't Hold On

My conscious mind knew the idea behind this song as it was being made but listening back, I think my subconscious mind actually did most of the writing. Yup. Weirdo alert. Haha hello.

Hush Waters

I wrote and recorded this last night just because I felt like I had to. I like to think it's a sequel to Les Yeux Bandés which is then a prequel to some song I've been trying to write. (Coz I'm casually pretentious like dat LOL) Haha. The opening line of the verses sound uncannily similar to an old OPM song. Hahaha I was too lazy to change the melody up. I was writing and tweaking as I was recording on garageband, so the cuts are clumsily done. Amsarreh. 

Hearts

Early in high school, 2 of my best friends and I had a girl-group we called Celsius. Hahaha we sang songs and stuff. This is part of a generic love-song with a poppy appeal I wrote for the three of us. I don't remember the rest of the song. I don't even remember the title. XD

I feel bad about not uploading anything in a while even though I want to. I've been working on things I can't find time to finish lately. A sudden surge of nostalgia just made me remember this hook. Haha :)

As I was stressing about my enrollment dilemmas, I found time to do a quick recording. Haha oh look, 4++ minutes long. Same old boringness. Nothing new. xD 
Also, I have reason to believe the guitar I used isn't tuned properly and I was too lazy to twist the knobs ever so carefully. Hahaha oh well. 

This was inspired by a recent wedding I've been to and by a married couple (aside from my parents) I truly admire. :)

Fun fact 1: if you listen carefully, you'll hear rain and a clock ticking :D lol
