I'm still trying to figure out how T F to work MPC beats w the MPK mini. This program is so o v e r w h e l m i n g. I chose one of the pre-set templates that luckily had the basic instruments (a keyboard w that bell sound). Wish I had more drum/beats options/knew how to adjust the volumes of each instrument/ knew wtf i was doing, but she's learning. This is take #1.

This time, I used the "songwriting" template that the program gave me which offered a drumset to work with. Overall, I felt a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit more comfortable w MPC than before, but still not familiar enough to adjust, edit, and incorporate all the different types of sounds I wanted to.

i'm a lofi gal who loves her music, especially when there's harmony and rhythm. to me, music acts as a time machine, a source of comfort, & a universal language that connects feelings.

i created this space for myself to play, chill, jam, & vibe w the goal to learn more about music composition- in baby steps ofc. 

my process: take an edible & play around. key is to not know what i'm doing 99% of the time.
