'Closed For Subsidence' with its damaged melody and throbbing bassline evokes the loneliness and darkness we’ve all experienced at some time over the past year, but we feel that Jeigo dripped a little hope for us into the song as well.

PREMIÈRE: Jeigo - Closed For Subsidence

Next up in our Origins Tapes series is DJ & Producer Jeigo: who creates standout euphoric, melodic cuts for the club and takes the same care of their DJ selection as every sonic choice within their own music. 

Jeigo’s standout musical movement of the last 12 months has to be their incredible 4 track EP on PETS Recordings ‘We Are Not Nothing’ that blends harmonic atmospheres with delicate yet hard-hitting drum sounds in perfect cadence. 

The future for Jeigo is incredibly bright and this mix is a wonderful example of their capabilities as a DJ and artist, and definitely an entity to watch for the foreseeable future.

Paradise Loops is a groove infused mix series aimed to provide a backdrop of balearic, anthemic and nostalgic sounds on those sun-soaked glory days.

It's an honour to have Jeigo take on our guest mix series this week, with a true reflection of our current sounds as nature takes it's hold on the world outside.

Here is my mix for the Feel My Bicep mixtape series.The mix was recorded in my home bedroom studio in Haggerston, drafted on my technics 1210’s and CDJ’s and then put together in Traktor and Logic Pro for a few tweaks. I have some effects chains I use in Logic for my productions which I love and wanted to utilise in the mix to give an essence of my production throughout, including Vahalia (the best!) plugins and Phat FX filters.
