Created by Rodrigo Viana and Matthieu Eskenazi, Jekitiba offers a mixed melodic jazz, sometimes melancholic, sometimes furious, but always spiced.
JEKITIBA is an European jazz that would have traveled extensively and would have been enriched by the cultures it encountered. 
The compositions are based on Brazilian traditional music, African rhythms through Afro-Caribbean influences - shortly, a jazz at the crossroads of world music.
The compositions are presented on stage and in the studio by Rodrigo Viana on guitar, François Faure on keyboards, Matthieu Eskenazi on bass and Jean-François Ludovicus on drums.
