Raf as what his colleagues would call him is an aspiring artist from Quezon City. His roots are from Ilocos Norte where he got his love for music.

He grew up in a family who could sing and play different kinds of instruments. This was the sole reason where his passion to music came blossomed.

As a young boy, he was gifted a guitar and sifted each chords independently and studied how to play it through the use of song hits. His grandmother, who greatly influenced him for his love to music, who also was a music teacher and choir master in Ilocos, taught him how to play the simple pieces in the piano, this grew unto him. He played every song he would love using the guitar or piano.

His teenage years was growing up as a choir member in their local subdivision, joined the glee and theater club back in high school which honed his passion to arts and entertainment. This is when he started writing his own songs and with the right circle of friends, asked them to sing with or for him.

After graduating high school, he took a sabbatical year before starting college and built a band. He played the bass guitar along side with his cousin who played the lead guitar. The stint didn’t last long but it opened opportunities for him in this field.  They played in different gigs and got almost signed but due to financial challenges they were not.

Raf continued his journey to music as he was still part of a chorale group in college until he graduated. This again opened a lot of opportunities for him. Singing in live television, the Manila Hotel and Manila Cathedral were one of the highlights. Lastly, staging, directing and producing a concert for his organization made him realize his potential in the entertainment industry.

Today, he still continues to navigate this talent as a side hustle. His influences dates back from high school which is Paramore, Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco up to finding the genre that fits his character. He is now into independent music, synth pop or folk. His music is greatly influenced by Halsey, Taylor Swift, Troye Sivan, Lany and Lauv. To date his music continues to evolve.
