In light of the current economic, social and moral situaltions brewing in this great land of opportunity we call America, A friend of mine and I wrote a song back in 2003 that challenges the thought of our political leaders such and governor's, senators and politicians being the answer for the cries of all the broken and hurt cities across America.  I hope this record speaks to your heart.

Jelani Aswad was born and raised in the New York Tri-State area. He and his wife Niasia have two children, and have enjoyed seven years of marriage. Jelani has traveled as a professional vocalist and recording artists for 16 years. 

Jelani has shared the stage with some of the most notable names in
Christianity. This includes great leaders like Francis Chan, James Nam Soo Kim, Tim Keller, and John Piper.

Jelani presides over The Launching Pad Music Group as its Chief Operating Officer. As a recording artist, he released his first single, "King of Zion." Jelani Aswad is releasing his debut full length album September 2018.

Jelani is passionate about pastoring the next generation of leaders. This includes worship leaders, musicians, creatives, and recording artists. 

Jelani has a degree in Pastoral Ministry, and a minor in Bible and Theology from Nyack College. He is a licensed minister with the C&MA. He serves as one of the Worship Pastors at Grace Missionary Church located in Cleveland Ohio.
