TV Colosso was a television series that ran in Brazil from 1993 until 1997. Priscila, the female sheepdog displayed on the album cover, was one of the characters on that show. The album is actually just full of kids songs, but with some small cuts and changes the Sonhando track definitely slaps for dancefloor usage

Back in 1977 'First Choice' came out with the track 'Let No Man Put Asunder'. Like many others, Ron Hardy remixed this track into something great. Nicolas Diez did a fantastic job restoring his version, which I again edited slightly for DJ / dancefloor usage. This song has been remixed many many times since its debut, which I absolutely love about bringing old tracks alive again and again.

In 1986 Nick John released this Hi-NRG / Italo beauty called Planet Nine. The vinyl has a vocal, instrumental and Bonus dub mix that I combined to make a shorter edited instrumental version of ready to be played for peak dancefloor energy!

Coming up next on Released Control on RBL Berlin we are thrilled to be featuring a 2 hour guestmix by Ciao Caio and Jelle from the Block, who will bring some sunshine into the grey days.

Ciao Caio kicking off the first hour with tropical sounds ranging from Brazilian street soul, Axé, Zouk, Latin and Balearic influences. The second hour Jelle from the Block is following up with more Brazilian Disco, Soul & Funk as well as Latin and Baeleric. He also recently started a new event series called Íntimo Orangerie Neukölln together with the host Eclectic Elektra, with the first event taking place on the 2nd of November.

Pedro Alberto Martínez Conde is a Venezuelan TV and stand-up comedian. He rose to fame with his TV comic character Perucho Conde, a latin american Campesino with humorous criticism against the present governments and consumer society. Dr.Ruddz recently created a regroove version of his track La Cotorra Criolla, which is about his monk parrot. I edited their version slightly making it more DJ friendly.

In 1983 Tânia Alves released the album Novos Sabores. On it is Hauacharahu, a track that blends indigenous and Portuguese lyrics. I’ve extended it by adding a DJ-friendly intro and outro, repeated chores, stem separation, plus a few extra loops here and there.
