The Shirahama Ondo, celebrated as one of Chiba Prefecture's three major folk songs, was once hugely popular nationwide as a new folk song played at Bon dance venues.
Shirahama Ondo originated in this very place.
Around 1954, driven by the passion of local stakeholders who desired a unique folk song for Shirahama, the melody was completed, marking the birth of Shirahama Ondo.
It was produced and released in 1956, two years after its conception.
Born and raised by the sea, the fishermen and ama divers of Shirahama cherished this Ondo deeply, contributing significantly to its widespread popularity today.

In 2012 Frazer worked on a song called you don't know how I feel with Simon Rudd and Graham Bowley. Simon on guitar and Graham on Drums. In 2018 that song became the song called Who I am. Frazer didn't use the music Graham and Simon had created. Frazer  later re wrote the song  with Nicky Stevens, Asifa Lahore and Paul Miles called Who I am. We had the song remixed into a dance style and it became the official anthem for Croydon Pride 2019 in London. https://youtu.be/QmVb_82Xt2g  the original Demo version  is on this soundcloud page. 

I am very pleased to announce (Oct 2020) I have just been working with a producer Paul Miles in London who has produced our New Year Song. The original New Year song was co-written by Frazer Kingdom-Barrett and Alan Lowles (2010), . Thankyou to Becky Hoyle your voice is amazing!

So in 2021, I started participating in a course where a person creates a project for themselves which really inspires them. I decided I would like to create a number of sets of song lyrics and melodies and create a band a group of musicians to develop those song lyrics and melodies into finished songs. With this project I really wanted to co write songs which inspire people, I know that there have been many songs I have listen to which have made me cry, made me happy and really made me move my body on a dance floor. I wanted to reach existing fans and new audiences, speak to our fans through our music, letting our fans know we have our arms around them. Sharing our love for our audience -  touch, move and inspire them.
 


The first of the songs started with Mama song, Frank Baugh kindly wrote the music to go with the lyrics and melody. We managed to get the song produced in London with Paul Miles in October 2021. I wanted to co write a song which was a tribute to my mother. Our song has won and award in Song of the Year Competition 2022, we came 2nd. 

In 2021,  I gathered a team of musicians together Martin Royal, Rob Price Bates, Will Crocker, Carl Wulf and Matt McGill. We worked on and developed our song called “Sleep”. This song was later produced in December 2021 by Sam @ Freehouse Studios in Bristol. 

In January, February, March 2022, our band Jemas Collective developed a song called Self Expressed. Then on March 11th 2022, we employed the services of Tom @ Mill Farm Studios to produce our song. It was amazing to work with such fab producer. Thankyou Tom for working with us. Thankyou Carl Wulf, Will Crocker, Matt McGill, And AJ Rowsell on Drums, 

Roughly ten years ago Jane Hamlin and I wrote a song called Tell Me are you free on Christmas Day. I can't believe I am saying this, but I sat on this song for all that time and never recorded it . So this year November 2025 I booked some studio time in London and our producer asked a singer he knows to sing for us, (Great job - Gemma Wedderburn) . Paul Miles our producer recorded and mastered our song in 2 days @select studios in Wood Green, London. Thanks to Paul for doing an amazing job on Production. The song will be available on spotify , you tube and amazon 30th November 2025.
