I Didn't Just Kiss Her

I had reached a dry spell with writing late last year.  I wanted to record, yet wasn’t inspired to write.  This was a tough place to be, since I’m usually such a prolific writer.  I felt drained, tired, frustrated.  I needed to refuel, and so on a trip to LA, Rich and I began listening to songs in our Itunes libraries.  We were playing some of our favorites for each other, trading off, especially focusing on music from the Eighties that day.  It began as light-hearted fun, and then “Somebody” came up and it just hit me in the heart.
