Singer, songwriter and dancer, Dru (Andrew Grange) grew up in Toronto and has passionately pursued his music career since 1993. The R&B/Soul Juno Award and MuchMusic Video Award winner’s major influences include Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo and Jay-Z. 

Dru released his debut solo album “The One” in 2008, and the album was rated 3.5 out of 4 stars by the critically acclaimed publication, Toronto Star.  Dru's presence was felt on Canada’s CHR/Top 40 and Hot AC stations in April 2008 when Dru was named CHUM's Emerging Artist of the Month. Dru's first three singles ‘The One’, ‘Stay with Me (Always)’ and ‘Seasons’ received strong rotation across the country, with videos for all three songs appearing on all major media outlets. With the release of his 4th single "Never Too Late" Dru continued to prove that he is settling into his own on the Canadian music charts. 

In 2009 Dru climbed the Canadian radio and video charts in both Canada & the UK when he was the featured artist on the hit single “Runnin” by renowned DJ’s Doman & Gooding’s dance compilation. This single earned Dru yet another Juno Award nomination in 2010 for “Dance Recording of The Year”

Dru has been identified by Billboard Magazine as one of the most Important Emerging Canadian Artists, and his debut solo release reinforces that he is “The Prince of the North”. 

Before becoming a solo artist, Dru was the front man for the R&B group “In Essence”. The group went on to release the award winning album "The Master Plan" with hit songs such as "You'll Never Find" which was also featured on Funk Master Flex's gold selling "60 Minutes of Funk Vol. 4" and quickly became a massive club hit in New York, Atlanta and Toronto.

Currently based in Toronto, Dru is a force in the industry both as a performer and song writer. He has written such hits for other foreign recording artists as multiplatinum Korean boy Band “Tohoshinki” who covered his song “Stay With Me Always” (Flower Lady) and he has the 2010 single for Japanese superstar Crystal Kay “Flash” which is also featured in the Japanese TV commercial for Canon’s latest camera.

Maintaining his drive, humility and class, Dru is poised to introduce a new brand and style to the R&B world.

Bio:
Currently Artist Manager at tanjola who manage the careers of Juno Award winning Keshia Chante and Platinum artists Massari and Shiloh. tanjola also publishes jacksoul, Shiloh, Rupert Gayle, Alex Greggs, Dru, Justin Forsley and Alonzo.

Jen previously worked with ole Music Publishing in Los Angeles 2006 through 2009 to represent ole's song catalog and songwriter roster, with special focus in the area of Pop and Urban music. Jen managed ole's digital label via IODA and was the founder, as well as key organizer, for ole's annual Pop/Urban songwriting camps in Toronto & LA that was profiled in Billboard Magazine and garnered such US radio singles as "Cause A Scene" by Teairra Mari ft Flo Rida. The songcamps included such producers/writers as The Runners, Maddscientist, Mike City, Dave Kopatz, Kuya, Tone Mason, Boi 1da, Shep Soloman, and many more.

Prior to joining ole in late 2006, Jen spent six years at BMG Canada (now SONY Music Canada) in the A&R dept, and became Manager of A&R and International Exploitation in 2003. Jen worked closely with the Canadian Idol projects, executive producing both Melissa O’Neil and Rex Goudie’s debut albums, and has worked with such acts as Keshia Chante, Shawn Desman, jacksoul, Rascalz, In Essence, Kalan Porter, Ryan Malcolm, Sloan, The Philosopher Kings, Our Lady Peace, Chantal Kreviazuk, Treble Charger, Gino Vannelli and Wyclef Jean

Jen has been an active member of the JUNO Award R&B/Soul committee since 2005, JUNO Award Songwriter of the Year committee since 2007 and is a current Juror member for FACTOR. (The Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent on Records)
She was also a teacher at Harris Institute for the Arts, Music Business School, where she founded the “Street Marketing” program in 2001 which she taught for several years.
