02 How did I end up here

This song was written and recorded in the midst of a hangover. Bit of a struggle as any song about a hangover should be. Forgive the use of bad language at the beginning, but i feel it was necessary .. The song was originally called hair of the dog, but I was at a session in Galway and a man also had a song by the same name which i jammed in with on the Bodhran. It is a sick tune, so I decided to change the name of mine. After  recording the tune I went for a skip of pints to cure my hungover soul.. they brought me some short term relief.. the second day is always better than the first.. :P I met a guy who has a song with the same name in Galway.. his is very different but excellent!

If we're talking about <i>Sea Levels</i>, then EP opener "Deep City" sees Melbourne-based producer @klokeuk emerge from a sub-oceanic plateau of disorienting crackle and outwardly pulsating detection blips into the first faint specks of daylight. 

The recent Red Bull Music Academy graduate creates an enveloping swirl of cyclical noise, gently guiding it towards the surface with ponderous dub bass and an unrelenting snare hiss. 

Kloke's distinct ex-pat view of the UK sound galaxy has been described as distilling "the urban groove and bucolic mood of his heritage through the vibrancy of his new environs into a wholly unique soundscape." On "Deep City", the promise holds true, as Kloke adventurously pieces together bits of shrubbery, making for a fascinating vivisection of slouching, dub-inflected, subaquatic house.
