This song was originally written as a letter to God in poetry form after my brother committed suicide 6 years ago. It was was a letter stating the main reasons why God should bring my brother home. It has around 40 vocal tracks of my own voice to try to replicate a choir and an almost haunting feel to the song. I wanted to try capture my emotions of grief, which felt like a rollercoaster of waves crashing than a slight sense of peace when the water rolls back into the ocean, therefor I created the song to have huge dynamics with the instruments than dropping most instruments out for the the verses and chorus to make the vocal shine. This song is about the non-linear ride of grief after someone you love takes their own life.

The lyrics I imagine he would write after his passing. 
The bridge lyrics "Oh Heaven gazed down upon you and I gave you that smile. Moments last forever now, soon we'll be together so please just stay for awhile." are his own lyrics.
