Bio

- Vicious Steam Engine - stands for powerful, mechanical and driving Techno from Germany.
Based in Southern Germany, he grew up in the 90s with the upcoming Techno scene in Germany, France, and Switzerland.
His own Music Productions experiments with different styles and also combines them, but always straight forward Techno. He see his Tracks more like Techno fairy tales, which tell a mood and a story. He loves to experiment and creatively create new musical experiences. In his various Tracklist, there is something for almost every techno taste. He brings a breath of fresh air to the Techno scene, with unusual Track productions, new structures and vibes. But always there is the Darkness & Power in his Music. Follow this exciting Techno Hero and support him for more Future Projects."

The guest mix in the second hour is by Nao Tamura who’s from Osaka, Japan and has been a  DJ for 25 years.  Influenced by the music of Yoji Biomehanika, he started as a Psytrance / Hard Trance DJ, In 2021 he met gizm0x, makers of the TB-303 clone, and moved on to Peak Time / Driving Techno, Hard Techno and Melodic Techno.  In 2021 he became a resident DJ at Profoundradio.com in the UK with a regular fortnightly show called ‘Trance Meet Techno.’

This week I welcome NAO TAMURA from Osaka, Japan!

Short Bio▼

 Lives and works in Osaka, Japan DJ for about 25 years. Previous genres. RAVE, NU-NRG, Trance, ACID Techno, Hard House, Techno, Hard Dance, Tech Dance, Hard Style, etc. In 2021, met gizm0x, makers of the TB-303 clone, and moved on to PEAKTIME / DRIVING TECHNO, MELODIC TECHNO, and HARD TECHNO. 

In the 1990s, influenced by RAVE, he started going to clubs. Influenced by the music and performance of YOJI BIOMEHANIKA, who he met there, he became a fan. From there, he became seriously into dance music and started DJing at clubs in the late 1990s. In the early 2000s, he also experienced event staff. In 2021, became a resident DJ at Profoundradio.com in the UK.

Throughout this journey, she is propelled by an unstoppable drive! Jenna’s singular sound has been featured alongside some of the top names in the industry. Envisioning, creating, and maintaining The Art of Techno US, circa 2014, she just started a podcast of her own, The Art of Techno Sessions. Her "Benoise Attack” broadcast boasts a global audience, placing 34th globally for her latest Hard Techno mix in March 2023! Her releases on Oscuro Music, Playoff Records, Mavic Music, and Beenoise Records have also gained a substantial following. Charting on Beatport multiple times, Jenna has huge plans for 2023 including starting her own label! That said, her newer, darker more industrial/heavy techno project, "Vertex Form", was signed to Soma Records after winning a remix contest for Rebekah's 23by23 Challenge.
