"Thanks To You (Criss' Song)" is an acoustic ballad. The song is about Criss Angel - one of my biggest inspirations. Melodically, the song is a cover of Cody Simpson's "Love So Strong". I changed the lyrics to Cody's song to tell the story of how Criss Angel inspired me to go for my dream of becoming a singer. I always wanted to cover a song by Cody Simpson as he is one of my favourite artists and I fell in love with the soft melody of "Love So Strong". Cody originally wrote the song about a girl he was in love with and unfortunately had to leave. The song already had a very personal theme so I thought it would be a great idea to re-write the lyrics and change them to something that I could relate to in a more personal manner - that way I'm singing it right from the heart. Criss Angel and his story really gave me the self-confidence and belief that I needed to go for my dream of becoming a singer. I wanted to thank him for all he has done for me so I re-wrote the lyrics and dedicated the song to him.
