Chances are when you walked though this door you would find Michaels mama in the kitchen singing into a wooden spoon.  :  ) She encouraged and nurtured the musical talents that she saw in her boys. 
Michael had music in his blood. One of his favorite places was his fathers studio in Somerset, Pa. Donn, (Mike and Daves dad) would come listen to us to offer his support and advice. Watching Donn and his boys in the studio give life to our thoughts and words was magical. 
This was the last song that we recorded in that studio. Like most of our recordings, it was recorded on a whim. In the grand tradition of Mikes recording style it's all real as it gets, mistakes included. His brother Dave recorded this song and I'm pretty he is the one rocking that tambourine. Donn played slide guitar. I mess up the vocals, as usual and Michael does the rest. All in all it probably took us less than 30 minutes to put it all together. We love this song so much because it's the true meaning of why people walk into the studio in the first place. These were happy times for all of us. So, stop what your doing and listen. Turn it up, loud and dance where ever you are. Remember our Mikey and his bright light every time you hear this song.

My Hampster is a song written by Mike and performed by Ghost Hospital. This song is about our hampster, Celery. This is the only picture that I have of him. Mike took him out of his cage to hold him and to give him a yogurt bite but Celery ended up biting him and got away. Lol... He was running free in the bedroom in Mt. Pleasant for a day.
 'My hampster ran away the other day, man I hope that he's ok... He's so cute, my cuddly man.. I just don't understand. Maybe it's cuz I'm always at work, geez oh, man I'm such a jerk. Maybe if I give him a tasty snack, he'll bring is hampster butt right back. . .

Where to begin with this? Lol... This was a Junk For Fashion jam that accidently turned into a song. The guys were doing their thing and I was basically just saying a bunch of nonsense. Turns out Ben was recording and 'Dunbarnian' was born. This is the actual recording, live and raw. Dunbarnian= Dunbar + Barbarian...

This song is from The Orthodox Demo written by Mike O. and Josh Barnhart. The album was recorded on reel-to-reel tape at the studio in Somerset, Pa by Mikes dad, Donn. At the time, (2002) Mikes heart wasn't into the music that he had currently been working on so he decided to start writing his own music. When he wasn't beating the hell of his drums he was learning guitar on the Danelectro. I love this song because it is Mikes first time recording his own guitar track. It is just an easy-peasy riff with a simple beginners type of solo. It completely melts my heart.
