One of Germany’s rising stars, Nico Pusch is the next talented artist to deliver a track for Soundplate Records. Nico had an incredible 2013 playing to sold out crowds all over the world and picking up thousands of fans on Soundcloud and Facebook, converting them to his unique style of electronic music. We were so blown away when we caught his smokin set in Amsterdam at ADE 2013 that we were clamouring to get some of his music on the label as soon as we got back!

The track is called Grune Weise which translates as Green Meadow. The laid back, dreamy vibe will certainly take you to a place where the grass is greener! We fell in love with this tune the first time we heard it and it’s been on all our playlists since, so it is wunderbar to finally be able to share this as a release.

We are also proud to give the green light to up and coming producer Mark Wells for remix duties on this one. Having already had music signed to labels such as Purp & Soul, Nervous and Pete Tong’s FFRR Recordings, Mark is defiantly one to watch out for in 2014. He gives this wistful melody a club-ready suckerpunch; completely restructuring it and adding a thumping bassline.

Here is the full Moonclipse set from Ozora Festival's Pumpui stage from the summer of  2022. 
Moonclipse is the surprising outcome of two friends, Avi Shmailov & Omri Sasi, meeting in the studio in the midst of a global pandemic. Avi is the mastermind behind Astrix, a leading figure in the electronic dance music world for 2 decades. While mainly releasing Psytrance Astrix had dabbled in other genres through the years. Last year found him collaborating with Guy J in a chart topping tune, and his track Universo together with Rising Dust is being played by the leading Techno DJs nonstop. Omri is a cross-genre DJ and electronic dance events organizer in Israel for many years, playing and producing a diverse spectrum of musical styles. 
With time on their hands during long lockdowns they decided to explore the world of Melodic Techno & House for fun and Moonclipse was born.
