Drawing from rock and metal roots, Estranged Cousins writes original songs on acoustic and electric guitar, sometimes supported by drums and sometimes left stripped down and raw. After the initial recording process, each song enters a second creative life. Using AI tools and digital production software like Suno, Estranged Cousins reshapes these tracks into EDM reinterpretations that retain the core chord progressions and vocal melodies of the originals while evolving into a new genre and identity. The result is not just a remix, but a refracted version of the song—recognizable yet reborn.
