In truth, there is no time and therefore there is no future or past, only this eternal moment and it is within this moment that we are Infinite... Thus our potential is Infinite for we are never disconnected from Maitreya by the illusion of time and need only remember that there is nothing to remember at all...

This piece symbolizes the evolution of the contemporary spirit towards the enlightenment experience and its activation in the "real world" through its progression of textures...

Beginning in from the universal sound source of the Om, this piece moves from the mechanical and sensual essence of modern life and society through the ebb and flow of becoming more and more aware of both the intense love and suffering of this world (represented by the movement of the strings) into an infinite space within, full of darkness but pulsing with beams of photons bringing one beyond space and time to the eternal sound of Om...

...awakening into an intricate hyperspace of Satori, we travel through the nexus of the Void upon the wings of a flute to find the realization that there is no realization and that It is beyond all things for: all is and all is not...

Floating back through inner/outer space and reawakening into this realm of Samsara and cyclical existence, the lessons of the Infinite are at first forgotten but then remembered again, creating a complete Self that is represented through the harmonic alignment of the strings and the flute, respectively symbolizing fear and love, darkness and light, the human experience and the buddha, the finite and the infinite...

Shakti Queen: She is a queen for she is not afraid to be seen in her vulnerability or her power. She shines her radiant light upon all beings she touches. The Queen is an ecstatic devotee of Divine and her life is lived through the heart in service and in surrender to Love.

About Feminine Medicine™
The Feminine Medicine™ project is a series of collaborative albums and stage shows I launched in 2015. Every song on the album is a collaboration between me and another female artist. 

I set out to bring music to the dance floor that showcases the "feminine" aspect through many expressions and faces of the feminine. The music expresses a harmony of both masculine and feminine frequencies that is both danceable and sacred co-created with some of my favorite female artists. I believe this music shows how "feminine" melodic textures and vocals can integrate with traditionally "masculine" bass frequencies to create songs that are harmonically transcendent of any existing genre.   

I have been writing, producing and performing the Feminine Medicine™ music for the last 5 years, collaborating with over 30 female musicians, vocalists, and dancers to showcase stage shows at major festivals including Lucidity Festival, Beloved Festival, and Enchanted Forest Festival. 

Artists showcased on Feminine Medicine™ music so far include: 
Heather Christie, Imagika Om, Liquid Love Drops, Ixchel Prisma, Eden Amadora, Amma Li Grace of Entheo, Tara Divina. 

Volume 1 was released Feb 2017. A remix album was released in 2018 featuring remixes from Govinda, Living Light, Luke Mandala, Ra So, Spoken Bird, Wu Wei, Joe Muscatello, and Pattern Disrupt.

Chak-heh. It’s a Korean word that means good, well-behaved, nice, polite; often used to describe a young woman who keeps quiet, who listens to her parents, who follows customs. A good girl.

When I was a baby, my dad would sing a song he wrote about me to soothe me when I was crying. I know the song because he would sing it all the way up through my preteen years to show his affection for me. It goes like this (translated from Korean to English): our Kelley is such a pretty Kelley, our Kelley is such a good (chak-han) Kelley, our Kelley is such a cute Kelley. So pretty, so chak-heh, so cute! It’s a great song, don’t get me wrong, and I felt so special when he sang it and my energy would light up from the attention. I know I am extremely blessed to have my dad, he really is the best father. I share this story to elucidate the subconscious expectation that’s placed on young girls who come from Confucianist cultures (e.g., Korean, Chinese) to be virtuous. That being a “good girl” who does well in school and is well-behaved was the pinnacle I was always aiming for. I wanted to be chak-heh, I had to be, because that’s how I would get the most love from my family. And I had to live up this brilliant song, of course!

Writing and now releasing, “Good Girl” has helped me reconcile the feelings that I wasn’t good or good enough because I wasn’t who my culture/partner/family/fill-in-the-blank wanted me to be. In fact, the original title of this song was “Mind Reading” because it was based on my desire to read my partner’s mind so I could be who I thought he wanted me to be for him! Craziness, I know. Now, I get to be the boss of my own life, I’m working on better communicating my personal boundaries while still being kind (it’s pretty much in my DNA to be chakheh), and I’m on the road to being a true good girl, on my own terms. 🙂
