Jens Lodén - First One (Lodeman Remix)

Sheharzad was a group consisting of the Amanda String Quartet (Swe) and Iraqy-Swedish singer/oudplayer Natik Awayez. 1998 Jens Lodén wrote arrangements for them and recorded a couple of the tracks, of which Yalla Yalla was one.

With his second full length album under his own name Jens Lodén shows his explorations in the techno/house domain during the last couple of years, with
aspects and influences of deep house, minimal, tech house, detroit techno, trance and acid. Genuine analog synth pads, dark 303-like basses, old school organ sounds... Both manually played and programmed, it all melts together into a mature musical languange that is groovy and suggestive, often with a dark melancholic feeling.

Jens Lodén is a Swedish musician, bassist, composer, and music producer known for his eclectic style and collaborative spirit as well as his more solitary excursions in minimal techno and ambient.
He has a multifaceted career spanning decades that includes collaborations with prominent Swedish jazz musicians such as Per "Texas" Johansson, Lina Nyberg and Mathias Landaeus.
