Stephan Hinz is back for his second release on Second State and this time he's flying solo with his Throwl EP. 
These are two massive dance floor tunes that will surely find their way into every
room scenario for the foreseeable future.

On the A side is the EP title track, 'Throwl' and Hinz does it again. Much like the huge hit 'Doch' from Hinz & Ruhmhardt's Panther EP earlier this summer, he's laid the groundwork with a giant kick drum, rolling bass and crisp hi hats, while a warm, distorted organ line relentlessly works into crescendo it never fully reaches. 
'Throwl' creates a massive amount of energy by never going over the edge, but taking it right there. Another brilliant display of how real restraint works magic on a crowd.

The Doctor is in, and the procedure is about to begin. 🩺 Welcome to the laboratory of OZONE, a sterile, forgotten chamber where sound is dissected, analyzed, and reanimated. Dressed in a stained lab coat, with hair the color of chemical reactions, she is a surgeon of sonics, a scientist of rhythm. Her tools are not scalpels and saws, but faders and jog wheels. Her experiment: to locate the soul within the soundwave and bring it to life.

The room is cold and clinical, a relic from a time of crude medical procedures. The tiled walls have seen things you can only imagine, and the air still holds the metallic tang of fear. But tonight, a new kind of operation is taking place. OZONE stands over her decks with the precision and focus of a surgeon. Her hands move with steady, practiced grace, making incisions into the silence, grafting beats together, and transplanting melodies. 🧪 This is not a performance; it is a clinical trial.

The music is as precise and unnerving as the environment. It's a form of industrial techno that is both minimalist and complex. You'll hear the clean, sharp cuts of a scalpel in the hi-hats, the steady, rhythmic beep of a heart monitor in the kick drum, and the chilling hum of life-support machines in the ambient drones. 🔬 This is a deep exploration of the anatomy of a beat, stripping it down to its bare essentials and then building it back up into something new, something monstrously beautiful.

You are not a patient, but a test subject, willingly submitting yourself to this auditory experiment. Let her rewire your neural pathways and recalibrate your senses. This is music that gets under your skin, that makes you question the boundary between organic and synthetic. Are you ready for your treatment? Don't be afraid. We proudly present our annual white isle tribute. 'Koen Groeneveld Presents Abzolut Ibiza 2018' is a 5 track EP, showcasing our label's trademark sound. Newcomer Bobby Cowley drops a bouncy piece of Disco influenced Techno and another shooting star, Germany's very own Lothar Von Striem, brings us the big room melodic tuneage that is 'Condensation'. Roberto Technalli continues his old school early 90's rave influenced string of releases via 'Supercell'. This all, alongside the usual contributions by label chief Koen Groeneveld, who delivered, collaborating with Roberto Technalli, a peaktime percussion loaded banger by the name of 'Cactus 127', plus Koen's very own fresh Re-Edit of his 2016 million streamer 'Feellit'.
