La Vie en Rose, originally sung by French singer Edith Piaf, can be translated as "Life in Rosy Hues" or "Life Through Rose-Colored Glasses"; its literal meaning is "Life in Pink" (wikipedia.org). I believe this is the same song Cristin Milioti sang in one of HIMYM (How Met Your Mother) episodes last January this year. A classic, heart-stirring ballad that makes one to go back to those times.

I first heard this song when I was in high school. And the lyrics perfectly described what I am feeling right now. "Hanggang Kailan" is Filipino for “Until When”. A song that’s about fighting the distance between two souls; a song that lets the lyrics and melody speaks until my arms finally can.

The title is in local Philippine dialect (Bisaya) which means, “let’s take a photo, handsome”. This funny song caught my attention when a friend was playing it on her playlist. Not a local speaker of this dialect but I understand the lyrics as many of my friends are speaking this language. The melody’s nice and easy to listen to.. and there goes my cover. *Excuse the Bisaya*

Waaay back when my so-called "minahan life" has started, I've been doin' a lot of things to ease my boredom and yes you got it right, to the point of recording my palpak guitar moments and laugh my heart out at the bulol-ang-lyrics songs. Since then after buying my own guitar (hi bespren, sikat ka dito ngayon! =D), I have a couple of recordings from my phone for the purpose of  (again) bantering myself.  But more than that, this is actually another way of de-stressing myself aside from writing, hinterland mischief, bible, cooking and sleeping (well, except the recording part).
