I set out to make a Disco mix and ended up making this.  A mix that ventures around the Disco era into other genres such as Electronic 70's/80's, Funk, Soul, and even a little rap.  This mix will keep the listener grovin and guessing for over an hour and a half.  Now Let's BOOGIE :)

Prince's death inspired me to go into a short set tributing some of my favorite artist that have passed.  This was live on 4/22/16 at Black Bear Bar. Since it wasn't preplanned there are some people I wish I had included but didn't remember in the moment.  I will post another RIP tribute Mix soon with more amazing artists.

I Am… - Party Fun Action Committee

Everyone loves (or secretly loves) some good ol 90's R&B! A lot of this music was the soundtrack to my High School years and even though I didn't necessarily realize I liked it as much then, I grew up to appreciate it much more.  I also went to Laguardia High School Of Music & Art where you would frequently run into a crew of vocal majors harmonizing in the stairwell trying to be the next Boyz II Men, or the next S.W.V. coordinating some hot dance moves in the lunchroom with their fly baggy gear! haaa! ohh nostalgia.  This mix also creeps into some late 90's/early 2000s jams during the first half, and keep an ear out for my 90's R&B hype man homages that pop up here and there. Enjoy while you do the cabbage patch ;)

Of course not every wedding is the same and one of the fun things about DJing weddings is catering to the particular musical taste of the party.  That being said I wanted to make a general fun mix that can give people an idea of some typically wedding friendly directions I could go in.  I hope you enjoy and thanks for listening.

This tune has a bit of everything...political statements(at end-F 45),  motivational therapy, how to deal with waiting for a chum, what kind of pet NOT to get, some humor and some non humor and so forth... I hope though enjoyeth!!

WEAR YOUR CROWN (prod. Sir Jarlsberg)

When I DJ live I usually like to go into mini sets of different genres. That's why I decided to make each mix on my Soundcloud page a different genre, or related genres.  I've really enjoyed the emergence of modern Afrobeats and Soca in the last few years.  It's given a real joyous happy vibe to partying that I think had been really missing.  And of course all the classic dancehall has been a staple for years and I've found it fun to mix that with newly relevant Afrobeats and Soca.  Near the end of the mix I go into some of my favorite Roots Reggae style jams which were great to revisit while making this mix.  Hope you all enjoy and thanks for listening.
