it's sooo good. takes me straight to the desert under the stars

As thousands of burners descend upon the Black Rock Desert to come together for an unsanctioned Burning Man gathering, we held a small gathering in Venice Beach.  We celebrated the bonds that have connected us together after two decades of heading to the desert.

My good friend Lushbunny surprised me and flew up to LA for my birthday. So he and I played this daytime energetic set to celebrate my 39th birthday at Mars Bar in San Francisco.  It's full of vocal old school house and disco tracks, greatly influenced by all the new tracks I discovered on my recent trip to the Defected Croatia festival back in August of this year!

My apologies for the lack of mixes on here. I can't see paying $99/year to share mixes when my friends who make the very tunes I mix make about a penny for every 5 sales online. In short, I'm paying 1000 times what the producer gets when they purchase a track and then Soundcloud wants me to pay another $99/year, none of which goes to the producers. Respect the producers!
