This is the first single to my upcoming debut entitled Kick Rocks: The Do Me Factor. Like my man J.Q. said this was a long time coming. Nellum - Still There (Prod. by Marro)

Born and Raised in Bedford, Virginia,  Jeramie Terence Nellum has always been a true hip hop head. Growing up around the golden eras of hip hop was just the inspiration he needed when he first started rhyming at age 12. He helped form a group alongside two of his cousins at age 15 that were known as the Funk Dwellaz. Although the group was short lived, Nellum continued to perfect his rhyme skills and stayed rooted to the hip hop music that was considered his inspiration. After high school, he would eventually become an army veteran who served 10 ½ years and within those years he spent 5 years participating in Freestyle battles in areas such as New York, South Korea, Tennessee, and any other areas where he was stationed. He was given the name Da Hip Hop Marauder (D.H.H.M) simply because of how well he was rooted in not only finding good hip hop music when others gave up looking for it but how supportive he was with a lot of hip hop artists that are heavily respected in underground hip hop. Also having to network and stay connected with underground hip hop artists that continue to motivate him even to this day, the decision was made to let it be known that his focus was now to perfect his craft as an emcee rather than continue with the freestyle battles.

After he was honorably discharged from the United States Army, he came back to home to where he took a chance of participating in a cypher at Club 24’s last show where he was given small praises and words of encouragement from such hip hop artists such as Poe Mack, Range da Messenga, Fhat Rob, Magnetic, Mr. Dynamite and Canadian artist Eternia. This eventually lead to him to meet up with Marro formerly known as 100% Blaq who was also a true hip hop head and was already making big waves as an emcee/producer.  Their first collaboration was “Still There” received good reviews throughout the region but it was the second single “Everyday Music” that opened the ears of everyone that love hip hop to this day. The duo is currently working on Nellum’s debut album entitled Kick Rocks: The Do Me Factor which will be definitely drop soon so stay tuned.
