Bugsnax!

Grease-E is the greatest BBQ chef of all time, with his assistant Slog, an adopted bugbear. Grease-E started out working at a speakeasy, as seen in the description to Drak'Thor's theme. He then left to pursue his culinary dreams, but failed, forced to join a band of Goblin kidnappers, where he met Slog. Slog was found by a tribe of Bugbears. He is a descendant of Bor'Guldan along with Drak'Thor and Shothvor, so his strength got him far in the tribe. Slog, however, was very stupid, a small brain compared to his large body. One day, he got lost, and ended up joining the wrong tribe, the same day Grease-E joined that same tribe, so Grease-E was paired with Slog. The Goblin didn't fit in at all, not being ruthless, only wanted to make beautiful food. Slog wanted to ask Grease-E about it, but he couldn't talk. Grease-E grew a big red mohawk and got all tatted up to try and fit it, but it never felt right. It was around this one-year mark that Slog realized he was in the wrong tribe, and while he was trying to find his way back, he came upon Grease-E's secret kitchen, tried some of the BBQ, loved it, went back to Grease-E, and hugged him, realizing the talent of his master. Slog knew this talent deserved to be shared, so he killed the tribe leader, and got some other bugbears together to eat Grease-E's food, and they instantly fell in love, threatening their goblin masters into allowing Grease-E to rise to the top of the ranks with Slog. Grease-E acted annoyed, but he was joyous deep down to be recognized for his passion. One day, their group was being attacked, and most were killed, but Grease-E was taken hostage. He couldn't find Slog anywhere. Supposedly, his attackers wanted information about a few missing people who they suspected Grease-E of attacking. Grease-E screamed and protested, knowing nothing. One member mentioned he wouldn't let Grease-E leave alive. Some other members smelled something off in the distance, and followed it. Grease-E was harassed and punched by a few members, who seemed to be enjoying it. Grease-E was crying, and one member, the same one who mentioned killing the young goblin, pulled out a knife, and put it to Grease-E's neck. It was then that a choking sound came from his attacker. Grease-E looked down through teary eyes, and saw a sword completely pierced through that group member. The attacker fell down, dead, and his lackeys fell as well. It was the members who had returned from finding a smell. "We don't kill for no reason," said the holder of the sword. Grease-E was shocked. The sword-holder introduced themselves as the leader of the group, a Firbolg named Elphere, who explained that the attacker used to be a member of the group, but who Elphere and others had always had issues about, due to extreme violence all the time. Grease-E hated to be vulnerable, so he stood up and, recognizing Elphere as a good being, put out his hand. "I'm Grease-E. I need some help." Elphere shook his hand back, revealing that he and the group had found some of Grease-E's food in his secret kitchen, and agreed to help. Elphere took Grease-E back to his small town, meeting up with the other group leader, a weirdo eco-terrorist Elf named Schmebulock Wildborne. There, Grease-E saw a very familiar bugbear. "SLOG!!!" cried Grease-E, running to where Slog sat injured, getting medicine from Wildborne. Wildborne moved out of the way, allowing the two to finally be reunited. Grease-E cried with joy, and Slog picked him up, grinning. Slog revealed that he had found just what Grease-E needed. A chef's hat and apron. Grease-E put it on, and opened up a very small shop, "The Greasy Goblin." With help from Kulyn, Wildborne, Drak'Thor, Grease-E's old tribe, a drunk cloud giant named Zephrus, and of course Slog, The Greasy Goblin is now the largest, most delicious, and coolest BBQ restaurant of all time.

Rocan. What a tragic story. Rocan was the hero of heroes. The god amongst men. The perfect specimen. The spirit's above saw him as the hero he was, a human fighter, who had been raised in complete hell, by his evil father, Nocar. Rocan lived, essentially, on the streets. His father expected him to be perfect, and would constantly beat him or condescend him for being anything less than perfect. His mother and some more of Nocar's family had died a few years after giving birth in a robbery with Rocan managed to survive. Nocar, whilst mourning for about three years, didn't take care of Rocan whatsoever, leaving him to feed and care for himself. However, Nocar mourned poorly, framing the dead as perfect, and that that perfection is lost to the graveyard. He pushed this onto Rocan, constantly expecting him to be perfect, perfect grades, perfect friends, everything. Rocan, eventually, after living life in fear of his father for about three years, at the age of seventeed, ran away. He joined the Solverian Army, and felt free, at first, before realizing the army had strict rules as well. He was happier to abide to them, as here he could chose which friends and which personality to have. He ended up leading his army through countless battles and wars, saving hundreds of lived, even sacrificing one leg to save his friend. (He replaced it with a peg.) The spirits of Avalorne were curious in Rocan, seeing him as the prime example of a good person, and electing him, for the first time ever, as the one-hundred-first spirit of Good. There, he frolicked around and drank for the first day, before some spirits ganged up and warned him to be Good, or the universe could collapse. Rocan thought they must have been joking. They informed him he had to be perfect to be a spirit, especially as the spirit of Good. Rocan grew timid, reminded of Nocar. After a couple weeks, the pressure mounted on poor Rocan, and he realized he was trapped in Avalorne, and spirit life wasn't an honor, it was damnation. He had to constantly be working to prove he was a good spirit, especially under the concerned eyes of H'Coni and Bor'Guldan. They noticed he might be concealing something. He wasn't only the spirit of Good, he was the first, which catapulted his expectations from both Spirit's and mortals even higher. Eventually, he couldn't take it. He heard Nocar in the back of his head, all the time, telling him he was right, and he knew along this was how it had to be. At this point, Nocar was dead, but even with that knowledge, it drew Rocan crazy, to the point where he would have moments when he felt like he was Nocar, and in that mind, he was perfect. He would switch back to Rocan and feel miserable. He hated this place. Eventually, it got to the point where Bor'Guldan and H'Coni realized that he had multiple personality disorder, and his personalities hated one another. After informing the rest of the spirits, the decision was made to destroy his soul, and let him rest in eternal peace. Bor'Guldan was the only one with this power, but he couldn't do it, and sent him to the Afterlife plane where Dauron waited. Nobody questioned Bor'Guldan, the wisest being in the universe, and Rocan was forever a reminder that Avalorne is fallible. Dauron allowed Rocan's soul to be completely free at last, and allowed Nocar to see his family again. Rocan is currently being rehabilitated, and is not on speaking terms with Nocar. His story, to all but Bor'Guldan, is a tragedy.

Rocan

Gadd! Amongst the five villages of the Pine Forest, most all knew of the greatest inventors of in the land, Aryll and Alvin Gadd. Both lived in Lednevir, the water based land of Kappa, and they were considered geniuses, as well as best friends to Dolop, the Giant Kappa leader of Lednevir, whos personality I stole from Daruk. Alvin was a tiny, wrinkled, extravagant, balding, mustachioed, chubby Kappa, with a colorful trenchcoat, top hat, and cane, who basically spun rather than walked. He was incredibly cheerful, and tiny compared to his best friend, drunk giant Dolop. Aryll was the exact opposite, for he was a bit taller and lankier, rarely spoke, and would occasionally present incredible ideas, and was thought of as wise. Aryll and Alvin spent most of their time together, in their lab, which always had smoke coming from various pipes. Alvin and Aryll could often be found on the shoulders of Dolop at forest-wide meetings.
They died working on their machine.
This theme is their son trying to finish their work, their son, Neville Gadd, based highly off of E.Gadd. He has no social understanding and has a cat and two lizards.

Gadd's Theme

Buddy the Bard, son of Luberos the Druid, Father of Hiril the Prophet, and Great Great Great grandchild of Mr. Deed the Bard, nephew of Kulyn, and part time spirit of Avalorne. Luberos's evil father, Zeophis, would push and force him to be a Fighter, and so he rebelled to become a druid. He and his wife, Eldborg, would later push Buddy to be a druid, but he rebelled, playing music with his best friend, Faodriel, named after Laodriel. Buddy and Faodriel started an Accordion, Piano, Bass, and Drum's band, against the wishes of Luberos. Luberos found out, and yelled at him, before Eldborg politely asked them both to leave. Only Luberos came back. Buddy had ran away. His parents reflected, and Eldborg's prophecy told of great things for Buddy. Luberos went to a forest with his grandmother, Ada, for five days. Ada then left, and Luberos spent the rest of his time by himself, for over one week. he came back as a master of knowledge, and full of regret for how he pushed Buddy away. He cried for days, until, two years later, he heard Buddy was coming into town. Faodriel came in crying, hugging a grinning Luberos. He asked her what was wrong, as she said she was happy to see him again, but Buddy felt terrible. Buddy came out carrying his son, who he had named Xeophis. Luberos said it was okay, different spelling, and the two embraced. Buddy now lives by the beach with his son and wife and mother and grandmother and brother, playing the accordion on the ocean cliff's edge.
