as a growing artist, my craft has always been inspired by video games. they provided me means to explore the pixel world— a form of escape, and i was able to present my stories through art from paintings to animation. now to kick-off this new venture in music, we’ll embark on a journey on the different emotions we all constantly feel when gaming: wonder, thrill, frustration, resilience, and fulfillment.

lara croft in tomb raider reimagined - instead of exploring ancient ruins, she finds herself discovering underground raves across the globe.

this short mix was inspired by that time i was playing tomb raider and had techno music going in the background. for each track i considered for the mix, i thought, 'would lara croft dance to this?' or 'is this something she would have in her playlist?' and so on.

i intended to bring listeners through the typical lara croft experience: exploring caves or jungles, discovering the community residing within, wandering around the resting check points, stealthing through enemy grounds, avoiding booby traps, finding hidden treasure and scriptures, and escaping post-discovery hurdles.
