Based on Carlos Bulosan's semi-autobiography, "America is in the Heart."  This show examines Carlos's journey from his home in the rural Philippines to the struggles he faces in the United States.  In "Read, Brother," Carlos's brother, Luciano, encourages him to broaden his horizons beyond their village and seek out an education.
