Label artist Khen has done a special 'Bronzed Re-Edit' of his classic 'Sunflakes' track. As a thank you for the great support we received on his 'Pollen Spreader EP' we're offering this as a Free Download. The Original version proved to be one of the biggest tracks of the summer season, earning regular play from Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J and Guy Mantzur. Eventually released in mid November, the track enjoyed immense success, reaching #13 in Beatport's Progressive House tracks chart (almost unheard of for an underground record). Now five weeks later it still sits in the top 50 and Khen has given it new life with his aptly coined 'Bronzed Re-Edit'. With an indistinct take on the melodies  and new found atmospheric focus, the much loved Israeli artist has crafted another exquisite dance floor gem. It's unique combination of warm ambience and rugged grooves produce a tranquil yet raw beauty. Certainly one we're proud to the put the microCastle stamp on and we hope you enjoy it as well, have a safe and happy holiday season. Much love from Khen and microCastle.  See you next year. :)

As Andre Sobota continues to shake global dancefloors with his genre-defying music, Proton Music opened 2017 with the sublime "Concluded". With a trio of high-calibre remixes already showcasing a breadth of talent, Particles now picks up the mantle with a further triumvirate.

Krzysztof Kotlinski and Krzysztof Kupczakiewicz are no stranger to the upper echelons of the underground dance fraternity. Under their Cream and Deep Fog guise the duo have over a century of production credits to their collective name with work signed to such luminary imprints as Electronic Tree, Soundteller and Aethereal. Furthermore, a clutch of credits have found their way onto Particles, not least in original work that includes the outstanding "Neverland" EP, and the "Kiki" and "Shantaram" tracks for "Summer Particles 2014". Remixes of GMJ in February 2016 and Kastis Torrau and Donatello a year later are now joined by an intelligent reworking of "Concluded". Subtly using the melodic themes of the original within a deep, evocative bass line, it stands supreme in a stripped back breakdown, surrounded by shimmering counterpoint motif. A wealth of additional production material extends the melodic flow and a laid-back rhythmic casing plays an integral part in the aptly named "4am Remix".

A new collaborative pairing making their presence felt, LADS, combines "German finesse and precision with South African groove and soul". Thus, Luc Angenehm and Deep Suite are a powerful duo. Responsible for a century of underground techno and house jewels, Angenehm has already found his way on to Solid Shape, City Life and Proton Music, with the latter accounting for the landmark "Kaiserkraft" and "Isabel" EPs. Similarly, Deep Suite has seen his work featured on Atal Music, Crevasse and his own eponymous imprint, while the duo have come together only once previously, with the track "Abgehn", part of the "Tour De Traum XII" compilation in mid 2016. Now debuting on Particles, the LADS remix of Particles is a deep house gem that glitters with magnificent use of Sobota's central melodic riff as it filters in and out of proceedings. Accompanied by emotive chord progressions, sustained bass line, seismic kick and elegant spot effects, the LADS remix is art in sonic form.

Hailing from the Buenos Aries capital, Sebastian Busto, continues to ride the crest of the sonic wave through his unique and distinctive production work. Renowned for his "dreamy atmospheres" and "elegant progressive house", the Argentinean's classical piano training has stood him in good stead as his work has found a home on a plethora of blue chip imprints. Balkan Connection, MNL and Massive Harmony Records have all helped shape Busto's success alongside the monthly "Religions" show on Proton Radio. September 2016's three-track, "Nature" EP, saw an explosive debut on Particles and now a 2017 rework of Desaturate is followed by a second remix. Creating a sublime rhythmic groove with stereo-spun hi hats and rolling percussion, an intriguing combination of new melodies play upon the themes inherent in Sobota's original, emerging in a rousing breakdown. As arpeggios and new bass line work their magic, Busto has created a highly original interpretation of "Concluded".

Earlier in 2018, Tokyo's Yunosuke Senoo aka Lycoriscoris released his genre-defying album ‘Flight’ via Anjunadeep. Ambient, emotive, and cinematic, ‘Flight’ is a bold showcase of skilled production and songwriting. 'Flight (Remixed)’ sees reinterpretations from German artists Grandbrothers and Ryan Davis.

Erol Sarp and Lukas Vogel of Grandbrothers have won plaudits from the likes of Dixon and Gilles Peterson, and drawn comparison to Steve Reich. They create all of their sounds with a grand piano, everything from melody to percussion. On this, their first ever remix, Erol and Lukas re-imagine the soulful progression of ‘Blue’, accentuating the ruminative piano score of the original.

Ryan Davis’ interpretation of Lycoriscoris’ Stella begins unassumingly soothing and reflective, only to give way to dissonant strings and a dark vibrating low-end that evoke the cinematic production of Hopkins and Moderat.

This November Ryan Davis’ most-recent EP ‘Home’ gets two new remixes courtesy of the United Kingdom’s Vessels and Russian producers Gorje Hewek & Izhevski. Vessels' reinterpretation of ‘Obsidian’ elaborates on the original’s deep and dark undertones, laying other-worldly pads and cascading arpeggios on a kick-heavy drumline. Conversely, Gorje Hewek & Izhevski present a lighter, melodic rework of Davis ‘Dimmed’; the duo build on Davis’ organic sound design to compose a piece which is both introspective and refined.

Dee Montero is next up on the ever reliant music tastemakers that are Do Not Sit on the Furniture.

Montero is a UK artist with an international profile. He is a former resident at Cafe Mambo for eight years and has some serious skills in the DJ booth. His productions skills are renowned and revered too, with recent releases on the likes of Lee Burridge's Tale & Tones, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, and Solomun’s Diynamic, where his ‘Halcyon’ track spent 5 weeks at #1 on Beatport, and was Pete Tong’s #1 Track of 2017. Here he goes deep and emotional on his four latest and great tracks. 

Chakra opens up with spine tingling xylophones dancing over rubbery, rolling grooves. It’s a late night cut with a real sense of musical spirit that burrows deep into your brain. Ventura then picks up the pace but stays just as seductive, with supple kicks and more busy but enchanting new age melodies floating up top next to draped piano chords that are full of feeling. Bahia then traps you in a trance, with more sustained pads and chanting vocals that are utterly uplifting. It’s a magical cut once more. Last of all, Samsara is another hands in the air, lighters out kind of tune with dreamy pads and superbly crafted melodies that are soft and shiver inducing. This really is a classy house EP from one of the best labels in the game.

Spellbinding Russian duo Modd are back with their 'Swallow’s Nest' EP, their latest extended play since 2018’s ‘Mesmerize Me’. Imbued with their characteristic laidback sound, the ‘Swallow’s Nest’ EP is beautifully melancholic. Using forest samples and a Zimmer-like chord progression, first up is title track ’Swallow’s Nest’. Picking up the tempo, ‘Ruskeala’ threads a soothing vocal amongst a bed of luscious, deep chords and warm vinyl kicks.

An indisputable talent, CRi made his label debut last year on ‘Explorations 07’ with ‘Remember You’. This was quickly followed by his track ‘Initial’ being featured on the Anjunadeep’s flagship compilation, ‘Anjunadeep 10’. The ‘Initial’ EP represents another commanding statement from the French-Canadian producer as he showcases his prodigious skill in the studio. First heard on ‘Anjunadeep 10’, opening title track ‘Initial’ threads distorted vocal samples through an array of cascading arps and warm piano-led progressions. ‘When I Saw You’ takes it deeper, bouncing filtered percussion and detuned vocals off a full sub bass, whilst closing track ‘Hidden Places’ staggers phased synthlines on a backdrop of moody breakbeats.
