Here's one that came from our Monday night shows at the Westin Savannah.  It's the Count Basie Classic "Cute".  This recording is a testament to the skill of the band.  This live recording was made while the band was sight reading. It's not perfect.  As a matter of fact, there is one major oversight... you'll hear it.  This song has a flute solo, that was mistakenly NOT printed. You'll hear the whole that solo left.  It's still a super swingin' recording of the Fabulous Equinox Orchestra. This song was recorded live on April 9,2015 at the Old Theater in Oriental, NC. Jeremy Davis on tenor saxophone, Erik Lofgrene of piano, Bach Norwood on bass, Rick Lollar on Drums, and Greg Saddler on the drums.  

Tenderly

Bach Norwood arranged the 18 piece big band version of this song as well as this 9 piece version.  He finished the big band chart at 4am the NIGHT BEFORE we recorded it in the studio. Obviously I have a tremendous amount of trust in his ability.  The 9 piece chart turned out particularly well, I think. The performance is good, the recording is ok, and my mix is limited :)  BUT.. I hope you enjoy
