Jesus had a portion of His congregation known as the Fish & Chips and Miracles Crowd.  As long as He was handing out food and miracles, thousands were gathered. What if Barabbas was not the raving, lunatic criminal that he is always portrayed to be.  What if he was one of the Jewish, freedom-fighters known as the Zealots.  The verses were written for probably 10 years until one night on the phone, John Edwards helped me finish the final 1/3 of the song.  In this song, you are sitting in the same dark, prison cell with a man who tells you his story.
